Toasting need not be reserved for special or public occasions; nor need it involve alcohol.

It can be a simple and private act of congratulation, celebration or unity to mark day to day events, progress or positive actions.

Our post entitled "Give yourself a Stressbusting™ Pat on the Back" touches on the importance to wellness of acknowledging achievement and this is a fab way to do so in an easy, collegiate but non intrusive, physical way.

Our favourite simple reasons for toasting, by way of example, are as follows:- 

● recovery from a minor ailment

● completion of a challenging work task

● giving Her Majesty the Baby an enjoyable day

● merely being there for each other.
