Singing is a brilliant StressBuster™.

It calms nerves, lifts mood and improves the steadiness of breathing, hence we understand is often encouraged among terminally ill patients where possible.

But it can also be used for the same purpose in everyday stressful situations.

Take driving, for example.

Everyone has at some stage been upset by the driving of others. But quite rightly the law has reacted to an increasing number of extreme instances of causing danger on the roads by imposing a range of road rage related offences.

We find that a simple way to stay calm when driving is to sing. And so far as we are aware, provided you are not using a mobile device and you are dressed in suitable attire for driving as opposed to karaoke, this is not (yet) an offence.

And it is absolutely permitted to imagine you are totally invisible and sing your veritable heart out as if you were live at the O2 Arena if that is where the music takes you, though not while waving arms around or in any way causing danger or distracting other drivers.

We recently shared a memory of a former school teacher who did exactly this on her way to work every single morning generating a welcome source of amusement among students. It may have been pure coincidence, but she was the most genial, relaxed and approachable member of staff in the entire school!

So shout, shout and let it all out to make driving more relaxing, pass otherwise redundant time in an effective StressBusting™ way and avoid being emotionally affected by the antics of other silly drivers who idiotically consider the roads to be their own personal playground.

La la la la LOL, MikeyM™&LouLoU™🙃🤔😊💖🧡💛💙 xxxxx

Important Note: meditation, hypnotism, hypnotherapy and other audio that may impede concentration in any way ought not to be used whilst driving - please consult our Legal Notices page for further information.
