We had a lovely day yesterday visiting a local zoo as a family.

Not something we would ordinarily do.

In fact, we didn’t even realise it were located so close to our doorstep.

But LouLoU™ once again took the chance to “Nail the Moment” (see our post so entitled) and ordered us tickets.

Et Voila, before we knew it, a short drive with a coffee grabbed en route, and we were in another world.

The Zoo was split between inside and outside areas, with a vast array of different creatures, all of which had their own fascinating and unique personalities.

The experience culminated in a couple of extremely rare snow leopards forming part of a controlled breeding programme, there sadly only bring a few thousand now left in the world, which was very humbling.

While we only spent a couple of hours there, the break from our routine was thoroughly rejuvenating.

For the importance of this, see our post entitled "Get Away from it All" to Stressbust™ For a Bit".

It also made for excellent, exciting discussion, debate and dialogue between us as a family, a recurring stressbusting theme 1st explored in our post, "Extend your Vocabulary to Stressbust™".

We got the chance to practice our skills of amateur photography in real time and share the results of our efforts with loved ones not physically able to make such a trip themselves, making their day in the process (see "The Best Gifts are "made@homewith❤"").

We even met and learned about an extremely cute breed of rodents called "capybara".

To end the visit we bought a couple of "homentos" (momentos for our home) from the cosy gift shop that we can now display openly to remind ourselves of the wonderful family experience we shared - see "10 Stressbusting™ Themes for Decorating to Innovate & Inspire".

And to top it off, we then had a far more productive day from a work perspective on our return home, as the trip had created a positive, definite separation – see our post entitled "Leave Your "Work Head" at Work to Stressbust™ at Home".

So, always keep eyes open for events and activities close by that could be of stressbusting™ interest, as these do not always require a long journey or great planning.

In other words, when it comes to stressbusting™, we often tend not to see the woods for the great big trees.
