Last year we had a major family landmark we almost didn't realise was taking place.

When we calculated the combined number of household birthdays we had enjoyed over the years between us, we realised we were 100 years old (a century, no less!) on the 1st birthday of Her Majesty the Baby, who stole the accolade from right under the nose of her Mum LouLoU™, who was born a day later!

It has now become something of a tradition we intend to continue as a household, being as it is an annual day we can all celebrate together as a family as opposed to focus on the individual 🥳🥳🥳🥳 .

This year we have calculated we will be 107 years old on 15th December, so we intend to celebrate the day in style in our lead up to Christmas.

This new yearly celebration is in keeping with our continued endeavours to maintain a warm, embracing identity and atmosphere at home, as described in various of our posts such as "10 Stressbusting™ Themes for Decorating to Innovate & Inspire", "Give your Home an Identity that helps you StressBust™", "Design a Stressbusting™ Family Crest" and "The Best Gifts are "made@homewith❤"".

Without spending a fortune, we had a brilliant, relaxing day full of chatter and laughter last year which felt incredibly different, spontaneous and inclusive of all the generational elements of our household; so we invite readers to try it out themselves and feedback on how it goes.

Who knows, if this catches on (or any relevant retailers are reading this post), it may eventually create a major market in birthday cards and gifts for 100, 200 and even 300 year old households! 👍😁

Big love & Birthday love to anyone who's big day is today,

MikeyM™&LouLoU™ 😊😍😎🧡💛💕 xxxx
