Hello my friends

Today I take another theme loved by people worldwide and give it the ‘Santiago Shake Up’ for a new generation.

I hope you enjoy the creation of this easy, cost effective and excellent stressbusting™ snack.

I first take the simple French national treasure which is a croissant and give it new lease of life and being.

These buttery wonders are very good for soul.

When packed or surrounded with joyous stressbusting™ ingredients for brunch or lunch, they can provide first class energy for stressbusting™ afternoon activities ahead.

One croissant each is more than an ample serving of this dish owing to the energy value of croissant.

We first take the desired number of croissants and cut them in half.

Separately, we slice some brie into the thin slithers and top with some black pepper.

We place a handful of sliced mushrooms in the grill and heat to cook until they are still refreshingly firm and succulent but starting to ooze their unique juices.

And finally we take some sundried tomato and set enough aside to garnish a side salad.

Now we toast the croissants for 3-4 minutes then take them out and add ze brie on one side of each croissant.

Put a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top of each half of croissant accommodating the brie and place all the croissants back in the grill.

Toast for a further few minutes until the brie begin to bubble brown attractively and croissants are nicely toasted but holding their shape.

Now remove the croissants and while the brie is still hot and gooey insert the cooked mushrooms on top with some of their juices to moisten the brie.

Close the croissants and serve with a side bed of rocket salad topped with some of the vitamin brimmed sundried tomato.

Note there is no need to add butter to the croissants as they already contain the butter and the croissants will have been pleasantly irrigated by the mushrooms and olive oil.

And the new merger of brie and mushroom juice will have created a cornucopia of taste bud sensation itself.

For added zest according to taste preference, feel free to drizzle the side salad either with some of the sundried tomato juices or with an additional touch of balsamic vinegar, which has been proven to effectively lower cholesterol and stabilise the blood pressure.

Et Voila, “LE CROISSANT SANTIAGO” is born, to be devoured slowly with a knife and fork to truly appreciate the captivating taste sensation.

Please email me with your thoughts or suggestions to connect@stressbustingexpert.com as I be delighted 2 hear from you.

Love, your very own Santiago Head Chef 🙂❣💗❤ xxxxx
