We live in a stressful age.
And the more we understand the base sources of our stress, the better equipped we are to develop processes and skills to manage it.
So we asked a number of AI sources what recent workplace developments they registered as being responsible for causing most stress at work.
While there were some minor discrepancies in responses, the following are some of the experiences that appeared more or less in all of them:-
1. Remote Work Expectations: Balancing work-life boundaries in a virtual environment.
2. Constant Connectivity: The pressure to be available at all times due to technology.
3. Increased Workloads: Demands for productivity often leading to longer work hours.
4. Virtual Meetings: Fatigue and stress from excessive online meetings.
5. Uncertain Job Security: Economic fluctuations causing anxiety about job stability.
6. Hybrid Work Models: Finding a balance between remote and in-office work.
7. Digital Transformation: Rapid changes in technology requiring continuous adaptation.
8. Tight Deadlines: Shorter and unrealistic turnaround times contributing to stress.
9. Collaboration Tools: Managing various platforms for communication and collaboration all at one time.
10. Performance Metrics: Constant and increased evaluation and pressure to meet key performance indicators.
Surprisingly, not one response stated that the rapid growth and development of AI itself was a source of stress for humans.....
Funny, that 🤔!
